Well, after some time I figured I should cover the bases. Out of the five I had originally submitted here, this is the one I think stands out. Unfortunate for this and the other pictures was that the work prior to adding in the wings went comepletely unnoticed because they took up so much of the picture. At the time I would do anything to not lose whatever part of the picture simply because I have this habit of wanting to see EVERYTHING, which in some way is a tremendous downfall I still suffer from. Fortunately for this series of pictures she wasn't wearing any sexy shoes, which made it ok for me to cut it off at the height you see it at. But ultimately what is innconsistent about this one is the lack of realism. A parrallell in concept can be found in this work here: [link] Which I did recently. Though they're similar in form and theme, they go in completely different directions when it comes to results. Aside from the obvious light/dark diffrences, one is more "painted" in that I did a lot from scratch. Where the other consists of a multitude of photos. It's sort of like comparing apples and oranges if you ask me. But the dilemma where I'm concerned is them being in the same category, where does that put me?
