The comment probably is from one of his close friends, which makes sense. As for Haloid, the risque stuff also comes from the fact that he hates predictability, which can be felt in Dead Fantasy as well (Kairi, Rinoa and Rachel are prefect examples of this). This part of him probably affected his decision to add the masterbation comment as well (I certainly wasn't expecting it).

I'm glad you understand what I was trying to get at, and if you still don't like his decision, that's perfectly fine. You don't have to force yourself to. If it will put your mind at ease, just think of it this way: as long as the content is awsome X 100, nobody is going to mind if the packaging is "faulty," right?

It just seems very out of place/character( weeellll i did see Haloid and there was some risque stuff with that........) well unless the person that he quoted the comment from if that is the case, is one of his good friends or sumthin and he printed it just to please someone..... but even then it just sucks/ bad decision. It's like a perfect blemish to a cool case of awesome movies and for a newbie to get a hold of it and read the back would think it is an anime-ish nasty vid or sumthin. And Wow is it def. not unless --yes-- that is the "joke" it's def. not that way and that is what people would think and have commented before etc etc and fans know not to be true lol i get it , of course Very "tongue in cheek" But i guess if fans are really annoyed by it can make up there own replacement covers... but why do that when you want the cover to be created and designed by Monty himself?
Yup, i read all Monty's comments and the "fail in some fans eyes" thing for the next movies. Which seems a little scary especailly with his work gaining loads of new fans everyday, but it sounds like every artist-- nothing they create even though the work is "cool to death" by everyone else, is not perfect ever for the artist themselves "just more i could do" type stuff. Or he is going to take it in a totally diff. direction for personal goals that may not be liked by everyone.....hmmm what to do? it is his creation--- but i do doubt that because he def. cares about his fans alot that is obvious
Don't get me wrong I'm just getting into his work and fell in love with Dead fantasy series, in love with the Final fantasy series, a big gamer, a 3d artist, and have just read every comment, seen every fan vid that was cool of Deadfantsy 1-2 etc. and uber inspiried especially by the fan reaction vids at conventions i too am a Monty/DF uber fan!
I really think Monty should post a comment on the subject even though there are a lot of fans that will just praise him to death for love of the movies and still be a little irked by the comment but not say anything which happens a lot with popular stuff.

But I enjoyed Haloid a little more, I think... Even though I'm a hardcore Final Fantasy fan.

The thing is... I enjoyed Haloid so much that I was going to cosplay Master Chick at A*Cen... Then I realized that I don't know how to sew... And I have limited funds...

We Shall See...


But at any rate, I love all of it. I wish I had that much talent.

hey i became a real big fan of dead fantasy as well as the other movies you have created like haloid. i gained interest all randomly, i wasn't really searching for your videos but i was just looking for final fantasy videos for my friend and came across yours and was in aww that the video wasn't done by square enix. i can't wait to see dead fantasy 3 and would hope to see either selphie, quistis, or paine in the coming sequels. but my biggest question is what program are you using to create and render these graphics becuase i've been trying to find a good program but all i got was blender 3d and it's very hard to use. please message me with an answer i would be most greatful. tHANK YOU

Hi, I love the Dead Fantasy series, pure awesome in my opinion. Not such a big fan of Haloid, because I'm not such much into the whole girl-on-girl thing, and I'm never gonna look at Master Chief the same way ever again after watching it (thanks a bunch... )

After DFIII is finished, might you consider making a vid based on the Super Smash Bros series? I personally can see potential there, but in the end it's what you decide, so I'm not expecting anything. It's just a thought.
